Established in 1977, the Morton Plant Mease Foundation is a charitable organization providing philanthropic support to the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease Health Care to acheive medical excellence and provide the care our community needs. This year the foundation has committed $7 million to help fund health improvement programs and initiatives including the support of the following:
*The Morgan Heart Hospital - located within Morton Plant Hospital
*Dr. George Morris Earn As You Learn Program - funding for the education and training of nurses and techs
*Turley Family Health Center - recognized by the United States Department of Health and Human Services as a National Community Center of Excellence.
