On Friday, November 8th, Morton Plant Mease Foundation’s annual Transamerica golf tournament will be held at the prestigious Belleair Country Club to benefit the Dr. George Morris Earn as You Learn (GMEAYL) nursing education program at the not-for-profit hospitals of Morton Plant Mease Health Care.
You are cordially invited to a post tournament dinner reception featuring a live and silent auction that will raise additional funds for the GMEAYL programs. You may register by clicking the button to the right.
The Dr. George Morris Earn as You Learn nursing education programs were established by Morton Plant Mease Health Care to attract and retain quality nurses as the nation progressively moves through a nursing shortage.
Your involvement will help us educate the most qualified nursing students and ensure all of our patients receive the highest level of care. Our program provides a stipend for our nursing students to relieve pressures created by the need to work full-time, go to school, and provide for their families. Over the past decade, overwhelming support from our community has contributed to the success of 210 registered nurses, 170 licensed practical nurses, 378 patient care techs, and 11 Master's prepared clinical nurse leaders.
